A complete renovation of beach side apartment in Mermaid Beach, Queensland.

We were engaged to design a complete renovation of this apartment with a clean coastal aesthetic. We worked within the constraints of the existing building’s structure but cleverly reoriented rooms and repositioned walls to open the space up and achieve more of a natural flow to the apartment. Our interiors team chose neutral colours and finishes to evoke a relaxed coastal feel. We love the large natural timber look tiles we picked for the floor which create a great backdrop but are also super practical for the sandy feet coming in and out throughout the day.
